Take a mallet made of rubber or wood and hammer it to level the floor. However, while doing this, you should be careful that the stones are not chipped.

Tip 7: If you have the missing pieces, you have to replace them with something similar. This can be done with the help of the general modeling adhesive or the polystyrene cement.

Tip 8: Some days after the installation, a certain amount of tile grout should be used to seal the gaps in between the marble chips. A light colored adhesive can be effective to enhance the shine. However, you have to clean the adhesive immediately after the job is done.

After the grout dries up, use special stone polish to bring out the true color and shine of the mosaic. The stone polish can be bought from masons.
